All-Hallows-Eve...

Or Halloween, as many say, can be a rather topsyturvy day. Can you believe Trick or Treat is cancelled in some parts of the East? May you enjoy a safe and Happy Halloween!

Sweet memories...

Sun, sand, stitching, family and friends---memories. Now that fall truly is in the air, only the sweet memories of summer remain. Had it not been for Anna hosting a challenge, this little project would have been just an unstitched memory of a project seen on a blog some where. A summer overnight with the oldest grandgirl leaving behind a note tucked under my bed pillow. Can a memory be any sweeter? Sweet memories, sweet dreams...much the same?

Weekend full...

Too tired to share it all. Just a peek of the fun ending! May your week be full of happiness!

Fair Leather Day...

At Hallmarket: A Hallmark Artist Art Fair. About 100 employees/artists showcased work done on their own and not through the company. Amazing art in various mediums, however, I was drawn to leather. The sweet journal was made by a young lady who sold everything she brought. I wish I had taken a picture of all her varied pieces...they were all wonderful. And the cuff, made from a belt, caught my eye first thing. I'm not sure why I didn't buy it right away. So happy it was there when I returned. The artist said it was one of his favorites and glad to see me wearing it home. What this gal did with bottles and odds and ends, words cannot describe. It was a wonderful way to bring in the month of October. Great weather, art, food and friend. Next year more photos, artists names and more cash! How did you begin the month?
