Restless stitcher...

Or just unable to set in a chair and stitch. Goodness knows there is plenty to accomplish...let alone gardening, reading, and the "piles" that are left undone with no excuse. Digging thru the stash and wips didn't increase motivation, reading other blogs and seeing a lot of beautiful stitching doesn't increase motivation. Wait, spending too much time on the computer? That may be the problem and since this computer has a mind of it's own lately, it's time to move on.

Offering no apology for not doing...just going to do!

There just are days like that...been there! I plan to stitch so I can move to the next project....now that is my problem, staying focused because I want to stitch so many things! Maybe I will take my stitching outside...join me?

Oh gosh, I've had so many times like that! That's OK...stitching is our joy, not a chore...we can do it whenever we do feel like it!
I'd love to see pics of your garden or other projects :)

I know there are seasons for things...but your stitching will come back when the weather cools and the fire is burning...until then...dream. Dianntha

Bowled over...

With the thought anyone would stitch a design over and over...let alone seven times!  This is not my stitching and I normally don't share the stitching of others.  Although, I did finish the witch seven times.  No, I won't stitch a bowl of wee witches, but I would stitch more than one if I knew who the designer was. Do you stitch a design more than once?

Many...

Of you have been posting photos of your Christmas decorations, some even rethinking this year's decorating. Few changes take place here, which may seem boring, but I think of it as tradition.  Every year when I begin to decorate fond memories come to mind as I place each ornament, Santa and treasure in it's usual place. Yet simple as it may be, I did rearrange the deer tray and... The Santas came down from the mantle... Allowing one of my favorite samplers to shine without the clutter. What changes did you make this year?

Counting. . .

And counting the days, or should I say the months since I have posted.  I think of it often and do so enjoy seeing your posts.  Where does the time go? Life is becoming a new normal here and all is well.  I am, however, surprised that I even remember how to start a post.   Finely Finished  is now a full time job--not my favorite word.  Finish work is a passion for me (not a job) and I'm fortunate to have clients' that allow me to spend time in the studio and "create" using their finely stitched pieces.  And how fun to have someone say "do your magic"!   Strawberries seem to be a favorite to stitch these days.  With so many lovely designs, I can see why.  Erica Michaels' Quaker Strawberry  has passed through the studio in many color ways. Tell me. . .are you counting stitches or days?   Thank you for stopping by, looking forward to hearing from you.
