Looking thru the window...

change is every where...lovely isn't it? Life is full of change...most out of our control. All changes, even the most longed for, have their melancholy; for what we leave behind is a part of ourselves.

Today's change comes with heavy heart...ever filled with love.

Such gorgeous foliage! We don't get a whole lot of color here in my part of Texas....my maple and oak trees are pretty this time of year...but in general, we just don't see a lot, I miss it.
Oh change...how wonderful it can be in some cases, like the seasons...and yet, harder to take in others....
sending hugs and prayers and good thoughts....

Hi Joy,
Thank you for your visit and comment. It's nice to meet you in this fascinating world of blogland. I agree with you that we must seek joy even as we experience challenges and changes. Love those fall trees! Take care. Sandy

Bowled over...

With the thought anyone would stitch a design over and over...let alone seven times!  This is not my stitching and I normally don't share the stitching of others.  Although, I did finish the witch seven times.  No, I won't stitch a bowl of wee witches, but I would stitch more than one if I knew who the designer was. Do you stitch a design more than once?

Ending and beginning. . .

Each new year fills my heart with reflections on the old and expectations for the new.  While taking down the tree this morning, thoughts of  "Will I always put up a tree?" came to mind.  How could I not?  Each ornament has its own story to tell. Even Annie was a little sad to see the tree go. . . However, starting the new year stitching was a perfect way to bring in 2012.  Thank you Beth ( Heartstring Samplery ) for providing this lovely little chart .  Will you make new memories and remember the old?
