Feeling. . .

Peaceful and grateful today.

My son turned 47 at 4:23 am today.  How is it he is older than me?  I sure don't feel old enough to have a child of that age.  Well, perhaps, my body feels it after working in the gardens for 2 hours.

With the tragic world events happening more and more often, one needs to remember to pray for peace and be grateful for all they have.  Even, carving out this new life, there is so much good and choosing to be appreciative warms my heart.

Guess I'm feeling melancholy, yet peace, grace and kindness--on my mind.

What word are you "feeling" today?

I think my word for today would be content. Hope you were able to finish up all your yardwork.

I'm sorry I'm not able to put one word to my day. My mood and attitude seem to change quickly and I need to work on that.

I think today I feel thankful. I remembered at the crazy groceries to be happy and approach the craziness with a happy as opposed to a grumpy attitude. And it helped! Happy birthday to your son. It must be amazing to have a son who is 47. I have a hard enough time with a son who is 21! lol! I like your post very much. We all must hope for peace in the world.

Bowled over...

With the thought anyone would stitch a design over and over...let alone seven times!  This is not my stitching and I normally don't share the stitching of others.  Although, I did finish the witch seven times.  No, I won't stitch a bowl of wee witches, but I would stitch more than one if I knew who the designer was. Do you stitch a design more than once?

What to do. . .

Blog, stitch, finish work?  I have no idea where to start. My world is spinning with change.  Trying to keep up and not knowing where to start.  Turning the page of the calendar was an eye-opener for sure.  2018. . .really?  Where did 2017 go, not to mention the last 3 years?! Life is what you make it and I'm going for love, joy and kindness.  Hopefully, that will include saying hello on occasion to my blog friends. How about you?  What are your plans for 2018?
