Vignettes...

Don't you just love that word? Even my husband, who did not know the meaning of the word before me, is now an expert on "vignettes", or so he thinks. After all these years, I suppose he's entitled...lol.

The house is completely decorated, although photography eludes me so here are a few of my little "vignettes". The apothecary jar filled with childhood ornaments.
This may be more of a display than vignette, but still shows off some of my favorite Santas.
My corner of Peace...next to my stitching and reading chair.
A little nature?
And of course, the grandgirls' room has to be decorated!
Vignettes...little corners of pleasures. Thank you for dropping by, won't you tell me about your vignettes?

Beautiful vignettes! I wish I was so talented. I am way behind with everything so my vignette is probably a bunch of scribbles like a child's drawing! ;-)

Lovely vignettes! I love your Santa collection and especially your corner of peace with its rosary and statuettes.

Joy, your "corners of pleasures"
are really lovely. I love to do groupings of items, too. I'm forever moving and changing objects, always trying to create the right look. Thanks for sharing.

Bowled over...

With the thought anyone would stitch a design over and over...let alone seven times!  This is not my stitching and I normally don't share the stitching of others.  Although, I did finish the witch seven times.  No, I won't stitch a bowl of wee witches, but I would stitch more than one if I knew who the designer was. Do you stitch a design more than once?

What to do. . .

Blog, stitch, finish work?  I have no idea where to start. My world is spinning with change.  Trying to keep up and not knowing where to start.  Turning the page of the calendar was an eye-opener for sure.  2018. . .really?  Where did 2017 go, not to mention the last 3 years?! Life is what you make it and I'm going for love, joy and kindness.  Hopefully, that will include saying hello on occasion to my blog friends. How about you?  What are your plans for 2018?
