A finish...

Or a start? The question of the New Year or perhaps the question of the Year! The first weeks of January have come and gone and I have yet to pick up a needle. However, I have had these amazing bursts of energy which have led to much needed cleaning and organizing. Don't get excited, this too shall pass. In between purging the bits of paper and a plethora of unusable items, I have managed to actually finish, and I do mean finish, stitched projects from the piles. What a great feeling! Never one to worry about the numerous projects in the works, the unfinished ones are beginning to tug at my conscience. That and not having to leave the house for finishing supplies, must mean something...what do you think?
The pillow is an old Ewe and Eye pattern...lucky me... my love and I have the same initials. The next two are by Blackbird Designs..."Truly Thine" and "A Merry Heart". My mind questions the size of the brown frame, but hey it was in the house! And the last is "Hearts and Flowers" by Carriage House Samplings. Don't you just love the 25 cent frame!?

Will this be the year of finishes...time will tell?!

Beautiful finishes and frames! I especially love that last one as it's on my to-stitch list. Whaddaya mean 25 cents frame?!!! I was going to say I love the frame before I read how much (or little) it cost! Lucky you!
Those are some of my favorite designs! I love, LOVE the 25 cent frame! It could not be more perfect!

OH MY GOSH!!!!!!!!!!!! Joy, they are amazing! Great job on the finishing. They are all beautiful, but I think my favorite is the way that you did the Truly Thine heart with the little strawberry. The frame for the CHS piece is perfect--I can't believe that you only paid 25 cents for it! Wow.

Enjoy your weekend!

Bowled over...

With the thought anyone would stitch a design over and over...let alone seven times!  This is not my stitching and I normally don't share the stitching of others.  Although, I did finish the witch seven times.  No, I won't stitch a bowl of wee witches, but I would stitch more than one if I knew who the designer was. Do you stitch a design more than once?

What to do. . .

Blog, stitch, finish work?  I have no idea where to start. My world is spinning with change.  Trying to keep up and not knowing where to start.  Turning the page of the calendar was an eye-opener for sure.  2018. . .really?  Where did 2017 go, not to mention the last 3 years?! Life is what you make it and I'm going for love, joy and kindness.  Hopefully, that will include saying hello on occasion to my blog friends. How about you?  What are your plans for 2018?
