"Hannah's Small Basket"

From A Schoolgirl's Work was a fun little stitch.  One would think it could be finished in time for Christmas...one would think, but not so. Not a lot of stitching, or should I say finishes recently, but I'm hoping she still wants it anyway.

What do you think, too little, too late?

It is so pretty that it could never be too little or too late.

I think that it will be wonderful whenever she receives it!! Better late than never, right?

Now who would turn down such a lovely gift, no matter what time it is? I'm sure it will be well received! Beautiful!

If she doesn't want it, I'll take it. ;) Seriously, it is gorgeous, and I'm sure it will be gratefully received. Beautiful work!

It's never too late for a lovely stitch such as this one! I don't think we should need definite deadlines for gifts. A gift from the heart is always timely! :-)

I love it....and stitchy gifts are never too little or too late. If it were, my sister would be a very disappointed lady. LOL

There's no such thing as too late, in my experience. And that beauty is certainly not "too little"!!

Bowled over...

With the thought anyone would stitch a design over and over...let alone seven times!  This is not my stitching and I normally don't share the stitching of others.  Although, I did finish the witch seven times.  No, I won't stitch a bowl of wee witches, but I would stitch more than one if I knew who the designer was. Do you stitch a design more than once?

Many...

Of you have been posting photos of your Christmas decorations, some even rethinking this year's decorating. Few changes take place here, which may seem boring, but I think of it as tradition.  Every year when I begin to decorate fond memories come to mind as I place each ornament, Santa and treasure in it's usual place. Yet simple as it may be, I did rearrange the deer tray and... The Santas came down from the mantle... Allowing one of my favorite samplers to shine without the clutter. What changes did you make this year?

Counting. . .

And counting the days, or should I say the months since I have posted.  I think of it often and do so enjoy seeing your posts.  Where does the time go? Life is becoming a new normal here and all is well.  I am, however, surprised that I even remember how to start a post.   Finely Finished  is now a full time job--not my favorite word.  Finish work is a passion for me (not a job) and I'm fortunate to have clients' that allow me to spend time in the studio and "create" using their finely stitched pieces.  And how fun to have someone say "do your magic"!   Strawberries seem to be a favorite to stitch these days.  With so many lovely designs, I can see why.  Erica Michaels' Quaker Strawberry  has passed through the studio in many color ways. Tell me. . .are you counting stitches or days?   Thank you for stopping by, looking forward to hearing from you.
